The Emily Hendrickson Scholarship Fund
“A Feather to Fly With”
RFW’s “A Feather to Fly With” scholarship fund honors Emily Hendrickson, a writer generous with her time in mentoring others, who created the extensive Regency Reference Book and published more than 50 Regency romances, many of them award-winning. She passed in 2019, leaving a lasting legacy of encouragement and excellence.
The scholarship fund is supported by donations, so please consider contributing. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

Application Guidelines
Funds may be requested by RFW members in good standing. Applications must be received at least 14 days before funds are needed (but not more than 120 days in advance). You must submit a separate application for each type of request.
Scholarship funds may be used for these RFW activities under these conditions:
- for RFW dues yearly but no more than three (3) years in a row
- for the RFW conference fee every two (2) years
- for full Academe course fees up to three (3) times per year
- Contest entry fee for work of Regency-Set Fiction
