RFW Terms of Membership
RFW’s terms of membership are presented below. If you have questions or need clarification, please contact RFW’s Membership Director.
General Terms and Costs
- Membership is open to any writer of Regency-set fiction aged 18+.
- Membership costs $60 USD per year and is valid for one year.
- New members and lapsed members pay an additional $15 USD application fee.
- All membership fees are regardless of country.
According to US IRS regulations, dues paid to a 501(c)(6) organization are not deductible as a charitable expense, but may be deducted as a business expense. Consult your tax professional for the most accurate information and advice.
Membership Renewals
Renewal notices and instructions will be emailed to members in good standing at least 30 days prior to the membership expiration date to the email address on record. Members have a 30-day grace period to renew their membership before they are considered “lapsed.”
To check your membership status and renewal date, LOGIN and visit the Subscriptions section of your Account page to view any existing subscriptions and associated information.
Members in good standing needing financial assistance are encouraged to apply for a Scholarship to cover their membership fees. Learn more about RFW Scholarships.
Lapsed Members
Lapsed members (those 31+ days past their renewal date) may restart their membership from the date of payment at the current membership rate + application fee, as stated above.
