Today’s featured Beau Monde author is Jacki Delecki!

Descended from a long line of storytellers, Jacki spins adventures filled with heart-pounding, danger, intrigue, and romance.

Jacki’s stories reflect her lifelong love affair with the arts and history. At a young age, she trained as a jazz singer and dancer. She has performed many acting roles with the Seattle Opera Company and Pacific Northwest Ballet. Her travels to London and Paris ignited her passion for the Regency era.

The CODE BREAKERS, Jacki’s Regency romantic suspense series, is set against the backdrop of the Napoleonic Wars. Many of the storylines are inspired by factual events and fascinating details Jacki discovers while researching this period in history, which infuses her emotionally compelling stories of honor, passion and loyalty with vivid, authentic detailing.

What do you love best/interests you most about the Regency Era?

Jacki says, “I love everything about it. The politics, the role of women, the War with France, the class system, the clothing.”

What do you like the most about The Beau Monde? How long have you been a member?

Jacki says, “I’ve been a member of Beau Monde for at least ten years. I love the generosity of the members who are always willing to share their knowledge with each other.”
