Class Description
Horses haven’t changed all that much in terms of the type of care needed, but there are differences in use since the Regency era, and in medicines. Questions about any horse scenes will be welcome. Over two weeks, this course will cover:
1 – Overview: Basic Behavior, Conformation and Tack
2 – Needs for Feeds: Type of Feed, and Feed for Use
3 – Farier Care: Trimming and Shoes
4 – Horse Keeping: Stables, Paddocks and Pastures
5 – Horse Doctors: Ailments, Cures, and the Royal Veterinary College
6 – City vs. Country Horses
About the Instructor
