Class Description

Food reveals character in many ways that clothing does. A man with meat on the sideboard and ale for breakfast is of higher status than a man who only has porridge in a pot. A lady who offers up decorative pineapples on her supper table is following the height of fashion. Above all else, the people of Regency era England followed the seasons for their meat, produce, fish and poultry.

This workshop will go into detail about seasonal foods and cover the following:

Zoom Session: Friday, May 2 at 2 PM (Mountain Time)
Writing Exercise: will be given on Wednesday, May 28
