Dive into this packed two week course that will include templates, homeworks, and challenges for you to consider in your writing practice as you learn how to plot out a series in just fourteen days. This course is designed to be as accessible and intersectional as possible.
Lesson 1: What is a series: basics for beginners
Lesson 2: Creating your structure: length, primary plot, and subplots
Lesson 3: Creating your characters: series-specific training
Lesson 4: Creating your world: setting, time, place, and ‘world’
Lesson 5: Creating success: marketing, promotion, and strategy
BONUS: live Q&A with Emily (questions can be submitted in advance, and the recording will be made available for those unable to attend live).

About the Instructor
A full-time career novelist, Emily is a USA Today® Bestselling Author with almost 100 books published. She has spoken at the Historical Novel Society Conference 2021 and the Writing Gals Conference October 2022. A triple RONE Award runner up, she has worked for a number of historical organizations, including the National Trust here in England, and has a passion for history and storytelling. In her past life she was the Chief Brand Officer of a healthtech company, but found writing success early and ‘retired’ at thirty. When not writing, Emily is a member of the London Authors’ Club, obsessing over people who haven’t had their story told, and attempting not to buy another sword.
